Dear residents of Haldensleben, dear guests and visitors,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to our 33rd Haldensleben Old Town Festival 2026! Every year, this colourful weekend showcases what makes our town so special: a sense of community, creativity, tradition and the joy of sharing experiences together.
We can look forward to a weekend full of encounters, music, good food, fun and surprises.
I hope you are looking forward to it just as much as I am.
I’m sure you feel it too: there’s something truly special about that Old Town Festival atmosphere. We can be very proud that, over these three days, the whole town is out and about, coming together to celebrate in high spirits. “See you at the Old Town Festival!” – this phrase is more than just a cliché; it is a promise. I look forward to a wonderful weekend with you all and promise that it will once again hold some lovely moments in store for every visitor, whatever their age.

The Guterzogenen Asis deliver a very special kind of night-time education: cheeky, funny and clever. With hip-hop lyrics and techno influences, they’ll set your ears alight. Kids: cover your parents’ ears.

Die Kommissare: the DJ project from Halle (Saale), fronted by Dr Ecksau, mixes party classics,
modern hits, remixes and their own productions. Their single “Stabil” shows that they’re more than just a
DJ duo – sing-along anthems and mash-ups guarantee packed dance floors.

Cocktail Dance Party

With a rousing mix of new wave, synth-pop and punk, the Bremen-based trio deliver an energetic live show. Driving synths, striking guitar riffs and the extraordinary voices of the two female singers combine with wild stage antics, catchy hooks and plenty of surprises. A shower of confetti brimming with trash, charm and love at first sight.

A boundless mix of music ensures a packed dance floor
DEZIBEL – “Tribute to AC/DC”, fronted by Andreas “Andi” Friebe, brings the legendary sound of AC/DC to life on stage. A spectacular show featuring a giant “Hell’s Bell”, stage effects and a powerful sound creates a genuine rock ’n’ roll atmosphere. Varying setlists, featuring classics and rarely performed songs, make every concert a special experience.

You can look forward to an hour of high-energy, uncompromising techno tracks, packed with dramatic hooklines set to driving beats. Let’s dance!!

The search is on for the town champion. Six teams will be lining up at the start, mustering a bit of courage and skill in their bid to take home the winner’s trophy – Haldensleben, Hundisburg, Satuelle, Süplingen, Uthmöden and Wedringen.

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be old, or for your mind to remain young? What if that were actually the case? Bursting with energy and brimming with creative inspiration, the three of them make their way through the Old Town Festival. They spontaneously turn the market square into a yoga class, shake up our city championships, climb up lampposts, contort themselves into (im)possible positions and engage with our visitors through spontaneous improvisation.

A musical journey through Europe
Big Band of the Kurt Masur Music School, Oschersleben
They captivate audiences with their handmade music, featuring two voices, an acoustic guitar and a cajón. From their own pop songs to groovy classics – with plenty of improvisation and a close connection with the audience, you’re guaranteed to find yourself singing along and tapping your feet

They tell stories from the everyday lives of ordinary people with warmth and humour. With courage, imagination and plenty of joy, they make their
audience laugh – because life should be a joy.

Karate Section
From children’s dance and ballet to hip-hop, street jazz and Zumba: the dance school is presenting a varied
programme of performances at the Old Town Festival, featuring around 80 dancers – full of joy, movement and rousing choreography.

He captivates audiences with his modern pop hits, powerful stage presence and a rousing live show. Born in Dresden and now living in Leipzig, he creates a fantastic atmosphere with his hits and his close connection with the audience.

Mr Jan & his Superband are known for their handmade family music, full of emotion, fun and musical variety – ranging from singer-songwriter pop to reggae and hip-hop. Their rousing live concerts, suitable for young and old alike, invite the audience to sing along and join in. The multi-award-winning musician can regularly be seen on KiKA and children’s radio.

Gören-Blues from Berlin, the children’s rock trio from Berlin-Kreuzberg, delight audiences with a colourful mix of rock, pop and many other genres. With numerous festival appearances and a guest spot on KiKA’s *SingAlarm*, they are among the most popular live bands in children’s music. Here’s to a brilliant year! Peace! #staycolourful

Well-known English songs, a powerful voice and plenty of emotion. Ninar, from Dresden, creates special moments with her music and invites you to listen.
They perform a selection of rock classics, as well as more recent well-known rock songs, in their own unique style.

The sibling duo from Berlin delight audiences with the finest songs of recent decades and their own compositions.
Both sing and accompany themselves on a variety of instruments.

The live band Atemlos presents a fresh and cheeky mix of brilliant cover versions of well-known hits from the past few decades and the current charts. For many years now, they’ve been a sure-fire guarantee of party music, high spirits and entertainment.
Manuel Baccano – this name stands for a versatile DJ, a highly talented producer and a born entertainer. He has already performed worldwide as a DJ. It is his versatility in particular that makes Manuel inimitable and unpredictable.
MICHAEL SCHULTE – Ambassador of the Summer Vibe 2026: MICHAEL SCHULTE is returning to the open-air stages for the ‘26 festival season! Together with his band, the multi-award-winning singer will be bringing his incomparable songs to life under the open sky.

Brenda Blitz makes wave-pop from Berlin. She finds her musical home in new wave, and her first songs show influences ranging from Joy Division to Charli XCX.

They say broken glass brings good luck. But if you’re after a proper dose of luck, you leave the bottles whole. And use them to make music. Bottle music. Europe’s leading deposit artisans, as always with their unwieldy name. Now it’s time to
seize luck by the scruff of the neck and join in – or else, tough luck

With these six music-loving individualists, every note is performed live. Whether it’s rock anthems or timeless classics – they bring a special energy and authenticity to every performance.

They don’t really want to know what yara is all about. Is it nights spent partying, smoking, love, or a longing for all of these things in some way? Sometimes it’s a hedonistic ballad of world-weariness, other times a wild Dada interlude on stage. For singer Jakob, only the extreme matters; he happily casts aside the little joys of everyday life. Together with Gio, Lisa and Jacque, he translates this quest into unpretentious German-language indie rock.

DJ Robin Hampsen’s first-ever Hypertechno remix, “Unendlichkeit – MilleniumKid & JBS”, and his own track, “Komm Tanzen”, have already been heard across Germany.
Four female rock stars bring a distinctive feminine touch to rock ’n’ roll. With boundless energy, high spirits and a good dose of rock ’n’ roll, they thrill their audience with German and English rock classics – from the 1970s to the present day.

Mika combines electronic sounds with an organic lightness. With its roots in techno and rave, his sound has evolved over the years into a versatile mix of downtempo, groove and driving beats. His sets are created in the moment – sometimes playful, sometimes deep, always atmospheric.

With classical instrumentation and songs such as ‘Ich wollt, ich wär ein Huhn’ and ‘Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus’, the BuckauBoys have been delighting a diverse audience for ten years now. “The finest new punk in German music from the 1920s and 1930s” – that’s how the trio themselves describe their music.

Joe and Axel not only play the old hits by Westernhagen, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Lindenberg and others, but also know how to give songs by the Foo Fighters, Mando Diao and The Subways, for example, a certain unplugged feel.

This brilliant, virtuoso trio brings back the fun and joy of playing to hot jazz. Anything that’s fun is allowed – and they’ll play it.

This cheerful children’s dance troupe presents dances from all over the world, ranging from elegant ballet to rousing can-can and lively mambo & nimble feet – a children’s dance group from Wedringen

To this day, these unforgettable tunes invite you to sing along and dance. They bring the sound of the 1950s back to the stage with a fresh groove and the elegance of days gone by – and invite you to sing along, sway to the music and enjoy yourself.

The ‘OK Live Ensemble’ will delight audiences with a varied programme entitled ‘Together – Stronger Together’, featuring singing, dancing, acrobatics and presentation. Come and see what the children and young people have put together with such dedication.

Tänzchentee – Something special is happening here. One of Saxony-Anhalt’s best-known party bands is playing at the ‘Haldensleben Schlager Party’. Many of the Schlager world’s biggest hits and crowd-pleasers will be performed in the band’s unmistakable style. Flashy costumes, professional entertainment and a whole load of fun await you!
DJ Team – will keep the evening going with the perfect hits. Between the live acts, they’ll keep the dance floor moving and get the crowd in the party mood with the greatest Schlager classics.
Roland Kaiser Impersonator – For five decades, Roland Kaiser has been thrilling fans of German Schlager with countless hits. Dresden, the city of ‘Kaisermania’, is home to Germany’s most popular Roland Kaiser impersonator, Steffen Heidrich. With his striking resemblance, authentic voice and rousing live performance, he brings Roland Kaiser to life for the audience. Years of stage experience promise some truly imperial moments. Steffen Heidrich, one of Germany’s most successful Roland Kaiser lookalikes, presents his greatest hits
